What is Light
Light is a form of radiatio
n, created by waves this is often called: EM radiation or electro magnetic radiation. A wavelength between approximately 400 nm and 700 nm is directly detected by the human eye and perceived as visible light. Other wavelengths, especially nearby infrared (longer than 700 nm) and ultraviolet (shorter than 400 nm) are also sometimes referred to as light, especially when visibility to humans is not relevant

How does a photograph become a photo?
On the old fashioned camera's (SLR) a photo is created through a chemical reaction made of silver halide crystals being exposed to light, silver halide crystals are a light sensitive chemical that changes colour and forms any image that is being projected onto it. the film in the camera is glazed with this light sensitive chemical. in the camera the film is directly behind the lens and shutter, so when the camera shutter opens it lets any light from the outside into the camera throug the lense and it hits the film at the back. (the duration the shutter is open for varies, considering on how powerful the light is outside, for example if you are taking a picture of the sun, the shutter only needs to be open for roughly half a mili-second, where as if you were taking a picture of a darkroom the shutter would have to stay open for a longer duration like 3 seconds.)

Subject, Content And Form

Subjective photography is An interpretive image of the subject, with results influenced by the attitude of the photographer. content is information and experiences that may provide value for an end-user/audience in specific contexts. Content may be delivered via any medium such as photographs. The word is used to identify and quantify various formats and genres of information. Form is the external appearance of an area or object such as colour and shapes.
elements that make the form:
- Shape
- Theme
- Colour
- Quality of light
- Structure
- Lines
- Texture
